On a crisp December night, Wonho makes his way onto The Regent Theatre stage. The fans roar with excitement and press forward. Wonho explodes on the stage and starts an unforgettable night.

Wonho is not new to the music scene. Wonho transitioned from being a member of the popular K-pop group MONSTA X to launching his own career as a solo artist. His debut album, Love Synonym #1: Right for Me, was released on September 4, 2020. His decision to go solo was met with overwhelming support from his fanbase, WENEE, who were excited to see him express himself freely through his music. Wonho’s debut as a solo artist was celebrated for emotional vulnerability and maturity in the music he produced. Fans praised his vocal ability, which had always been one of his standout qualities in MONSTA X, but his solo work allowed him to explore more. From there, WENEE have supported Wonho with every release since his solo debut.

Back in the heart of L.A., fans cheered as Wonho opened the night with “Open Mind.” His performance was mesmerizing and every eye in the room was on him. He was joined with four backup dancers to continue the set with “Ain’t About You” and “What Would You Do.” Wonho greeted WENEE with a loving tone, expressing his concern for the fans. “Please be careful,” he said to caution the fans with pushing or shoving.

In the beginning of the night, Wonho performed several dance covers of popular K-pop songs. “Whiplash” (originally by Aespa), “Spice it Up” (originally by Karina), and “Sticky” (originally by Kiss of Life), to name a few. His dance experience from both his solo career and his career with MONSTA X was on full display. His talent to adapt to each dance style is impressive. If there was an audience member who was not a fan of Wonho, they were made a fan that night due to his incredible talent.

Every moment between performances was filled with Wonho’s appreciation for his WENEE. As this was a dedicated fan-meet/concert, the fans truly showed up for Wonho and their appreciation for him. Both Wonho and WENEE poured out their love for one another the whole night. Wonho expressed multiple times how much he was inspired by the international WENEE in the room.

Wonho’s concert in Los Angeles showcased not only his impressive talent. but also the deep connection and vibrant energy shared between Wonho and WENEE. Wonho showed L.A. his talent, by creating an intoxicating energy that reverberated through the whole building. The entire room shook with excitement from both Wonho and the fans. Wonho’s talent and legacy will continue on and his future is brighter than anyone can imagine.
